OBTW, the QTC has exactly the same configuration.  If anyone has any
numbers
or sources for snap rings that will work here I'd appreciate hearing back
... my '83 ur-q still has the original bobbins ...<

 BTDT myself on my 83 UrQ.. Fell apart promptly when I got home from last
years Pikes Peak event!
I too tried to find snap rings,,, I couldn't find anything that would
work.. Seemed really Mickey Mouse.. But, it did last 14 years.. But, it was
a Bitch to work my way onder the dash to get the whole damned mess back
together.
