Re: speeding, NMA, etc.

it might go slightly away from Audi but I think there is enough interest
to the speeding topic to continue this thread.

I had all that in my bookmarks list. Moreover, I am an NMA member (not
an activist though). However, their website is http://www.motorists.com

Yes! And the only way I see to stop it is to fight every single ticket
giving them as much trouble as possible to prove EACH case. As long as
this extortion will be profitable it will continue. When a ticket is
fought it is becoming a money loosing case for the People of the State
of X, Town of Y, Village of Z. Also hiring a lawyer should be avoided
if possible, because they belong to the group lobbying to keep this
legalized fraud. Other members of this group are authorities on various
levels happy to get extra money and insurance companies happy to
surcharge safe drivers for no true reason.
Still interested to hear whether that hear-say case was appealed and if
yes, what was the end of the story.
