Re:944 turbo v. ur-q

While on the subject of 944's v. Quattros... While researching the
water-coolers I read somewhere that one of the improvements to the 
1995 Porsche 968 was the introduction of a torque sensing differential.
Anyone know if this is the same technology?   I wouldn't be surprised.
A picture of an early 924 engine looked *real* familiar to me...

BTW, my dad has a 944S2 and one thing to get used to is that in that
car every Sunfire and CRX on the road has *got* to try and pass you.
It gets annoying after a while... in a quattro you can just blow past
guys thinking "what was that!?" :)
