I had one of these rattles that I couldn't isolate for a long, long
time.  Turned out to be the hinges for the hood.  Lubed them and all
was well.  I did have to replace the hood struts though after freeing
up the hinges.  Got boinked in the head not realizing what else the
grease had fixed :)
