My '91 V8q has the "pull up" sun shade in the rear, but the recoil
spring is broken and the dealer wants ONLY $480 for a new one (I DON"T
THINK SO!). Anyone know where I can get a new, aftermarket or used one?

IMHO on the antenna issue, the antenna in the windshield s*cks for
reception, both FM and AM. My original Bose head had been replaced with
a Blaupunkt Mailbu CR67 before I purchased it 9 months ago. I only have
a single front windshield antenna configuration with none in the rear
windshield as someone noted earlier. The rear glass appears to be
original. Is the dual antenna configuration an option and does it
provide better reception? 

I'm seriously considering either mounting a standard antenna on the
drivers rear quarter panel or moving the cell phone antenna to the rear
windshield with a capacitive coupler and use the existing hole on the
passengers rear quarter panel to mount a standard radio antenna. 

Any BTDT on these thoughts??
