Re: Audi/Porsche
I have been a 911 fan for the longest time and I do believe Porsche made a
big mistake with the new 911 when it comes to pure enthusiasts (who take
their cars to the track once in a while). Charging twice for a car that has
a complete (most of it) front end and interior from a half priced Boxter?
No more dry sump? Overlaping (GM style) gauges?
It might be a nice car to drive but when it comes to tradition, why go for
over 30 years and stop now. I guess daddy is dead and it's all going down
hill.
Too bad.
Does Ferrari still make all of it cars around a tube-frame chassis?
Or have they trashed that tradition as well.
It look like nowdays it's the marketing people that decide on how a car
should be built.
Just my $0.02.
