Radiator Fan - 200tq
Now that my car is running, I am back onto my fan problem. Your comments are
requested based on new info. I have tested the resistor plateand the
readings were all over the place. For one side, out of 10 tests, 5 tests
would give a steady reading at .3, .4 0r .5 ohms, otherwise the reading
jumped all over the place. On the other side, you might get a steady
reading at .3 ohms 2 out of 10 times, otherwise the readings roam all over
the place even to the blinking 1000 which I assume to be infinity. Is this
thing shot?
The second piece of information is that when I tried to run the fan by
jumping across the plug to the radiator thermoswitch , blew the fuse strip
in the ground from the fan. Ihave replaced this.
As a reminder my fan does not operate at all, in ac mode , after run mode or
regular. But the fan works when you put twelve volts on it.
