Agreeded, I'm a long term concours competitor and winner at
both Porsche and BMW shows, and I'd like to show my '91 90q20v.
I'm in Colorado and we have two shows I can think of that would
fit our cars. The Exotic Car Show, that is Porsche, MB,
Ferrari, Jag, and some times BMW. Also the VW show, which has
turned absolutly huge. The Exotic car show would be a quiter
up-scale show the VW show a lot louder. I'd like to try the
Exotic car show its in eary June, at Arapahoe Community College
on their very large grass soccer field...but...I need other
Colorado Audi owners to agree to partisapate! I'm sure I could
talk the management of the Show into letting us in. Being a
charity event each car entered is a $40 donation, it was for MS
this year I beleive. We could be just for showing only, for
judging by either the event judges, or we could do our own
thing, being that concouring would be new to most of the Audi
owners I know, beleive me we would want to judge our own cars,
being a Porsche concours judge myself you guys/gals don't want
to know how tough a PCA concours is.
The point being we could put the cars on the grass, have a
good time, for a good cause. I also have a good freind in the
area with 4 various DKWs, a 3=6, a Munga, a SP1000 and a Panel
Van. He could give the display some age depth. What I need now
is a general feel of how you Colorado Audi people feel about
this. Would you show??
Let me know!
If we start planning now I/we can make it happen!
