Given that the air conditioning kits are very expensive compared to the
value of an '89 Audi, the installation is a real PITA and takes lot of work
and the stock air conditioning system was an advanced electronic climate
control system also used on high-end GM cars like Cadillacs, it is usually
more feasible to sell your car and find one with A/C.
