There are those who consider the radio staying on after ignition is
switched off to be a great feature. I'm not one of those. I guess it could
be nice to leave a functioning radio for a passenger who waits in the car,
while you must take your keys away to do something or other.

While extolling the features of a '95.5 S6 to me, an Audi salesman
demonstrated a radio feature that I think is the best compromise: the radio
_automatically_ shuts OFF with the ignition, but it can be turned on again
by simply pressing the power/volume knob. That's cool! Do all late-model
Audi's now have that feature?
