Re: My Transmission "BARKS"



Definitely bring it to the dealer and have them check it out... while it's
under warranty. I'm glad I did when my tranny was shifting "funny" when
going into 2nd gear (i.e. hesitation/slipping). Rather than try to figure
out the problem, and try to fix it, Audi authorized the installation of a
"new" tranny. I'm glad that I didn't have to pay that $5,000 repair bill!!

P.S. So far, no problems with the replacement tranny... and I've driven it
100k miles. <knock on wood>
