Yup. Everybody is so comfy and cozy in their 5000 lb steel cocoons
that they really don't need to bother about those other annoying little
vehicles trying to get out of the way. Idiocy isn't the issue. It's the
lack of attention and concern fostered by the seductive security. It's
a double danger to others: careless brute power. I see it every day.

Well, opinions obviously vary. It all goes back to a brain, though. Drive a Range Rover like you would an UrQ and you will most likely be in the weeds. But, who would, is my question? To think that an otherwise good driver somehow goes bad because they feel safe in the "steel cocoon" is bs. That people don't take the time to learn how to fly a Mooney after stepping out of a Piper Cub is what, the fault of the plane? Ain't buying it here.

If a person does not understand the braking differences, handling differences, etc., between a Range Rover and a Miata, perhaps a driving school should be in their future??? There is no question that most Suv use in this country is pure vanity. A bad driver though, is simply a bad driver. Sooner or later, they will find you.
