Dogs in Audis

At last, a subject on which I am an expert ; )

First, I'd like to say, anyone who travels around with their dog is my kind of
guy!
Second, I don't understand the problem exactly. Is it drool or dog hair or
nail marks or all of the above? This is actually my first car with leather
interior (deprived childhood). I have to say though, the leather looks one
heck of a lot better than any cloth interior I have ever had, not because its
leather but because I've become a total fanatic about keeping it "pristine" (I
just love that word). That means that every time I take the dog, I vacuum the
interior as soon as I get home. Then, I take out this little tiny bottle of
Windex (that I keep in the door) and cleanup the nose prints that are always
on the side windows. Then, I have this cute brush (like a paintbrush) that I
use to whisk away those little white hairs from the dash, stick, etc.

My dog only weighs 20 lb. so there is a lot less potential for damage, but he
has had his moments. I already told the list about licking the finish off the
leather on the passenger seat. Luckily that was totally fixable (at a
reasonable price too). Also, he once tipped over a 16 ounce container of
steaming hot black coffee which I had just placed in the cup holder. This was
after the licking incident so I already knew not to rub : ) Oh, and that's the
last thing...always keep paper towels nearby, very nearby!
