5kcstq:rear tie rods

Hi folks,
I think I need to replace the passenger side rear wheel outer tie rod end
on my 86 5KCSTQ as I can move the wheel up and down by hand to a nice
clunk,and it appears to move at that joint.  It is not supposed to move,
right?  Can one replace the outer part of the tie-rod or is it one unit?  I
assume hat if I set the new one the same as the old, I don't need to do an
alignment.  True?  Also, any source other than the dealer, I will have to
do it mail order anyway since there is noone close by. I also want to make
sure I get the correct one.
Any help would be appreciated.
