Subject: Re: V8's
I, for one, can tell you the V8 5-speed is truly awesome. My ECU is
currently
in the hands of Ned Ritchie who will unleash hidden horse power.
Even without
this modification, I am able to pull most vehicles at the light.
Mechanically, this vehicle is sound, in spite of the 148K on the
clock. With
the 234/45/17 mounted on chrome 7 spoke Ronals, the handling and
ride are
great. Post exhaust mods, I look forward to meeting any of the
naysayers with
respect to the V8's (or even now). This is my second 1991 V8,
however, my
first 5-speed. The auto was great, however, the 5-speed is almost
beyond
words.
I previously owned a mustang 5.0 Gt and a TAP modified 87 5000 CSQ.
Nonetheless, the V8 5-speed beats them all, hands down.
