Re: v8s

Frank,
Honestly, I don't get it. When you got online about your V8 6 or 7
months ago, you were complaining about the UFO's. Then you were
complaining about two months ago about the lack of support for ignition
wires. Following this you chose to get a new car and sell the old one. I
gather that the A8 is more refined and more perfected since they've had 8
years of production. However, if you love the V8 so much why pop for $40K+
for the A8? Don't they serve essentially the same mission?
Best,

Larry- Your memory is good, what you say is mostly true. I did/do complain
about the product support from Audi for the V8. I never have had any problems
with the brakes! Thanks to this list, most of my parts availability problems
get solved around, not through the dealer. Relative to the A8 vs V8 its quite
simple, I wanted it so I bought it!! When you get to my age you realize just
how short life is, and you can't take it with you. You have had a bad
experince with your V8 I have not. I love the car but for many reasons some
stated above, I would not recommend it to someone who doesn't do all or most
of his own work.
