rear axle bushings on Coupe/2wd 4k - btdt's?

It seems the bonded rubber bushing that mounts the trailing arm on my
rear axle comes new with a circumferential metal sleeve.  It also seems
that the old ones don't have this sleeve when they come out.  This is
because the sleeve separates from the rubber and "becomes one" with the
inner diameter of the trailing arm...

Any btdt's on making these become two again?
