Strange brake behavior on new A4 1.8t

Hey guys,
I had a funny thing happen to my A4 yesterday, I started it up, and when I
pressed the brake, the pedal went all the way to the floor with very little
pedal pressure. The car had not been sitting for too long (~3hrs) and had
been working fine before. I pressed the pedal about 20 times, and still
didn't get any pressure. Once I pulled out of the garage and started driving,
the pressure built up and finally started working right.

This is a new A4 with only 9K miles, and lots of brake fluid, any idea why it
did this?
