Don't bother. They trashed my 5kCST's handling. I took the car to an
alignment shop. If you want, take the bill back to NTB, present it to the
manager and tell them they f*cked up your car and "this is what I had to do
to get it RIGHT. Pay for the damage you did to my car."
NTB once spent 5 HOURS trying to align one wheel. The guy claimed it was
"so badly rusted" that he couldn't get anything to budge. Funny, the
alignment shop didn't have a problem. They even re-balanced all the wheels
on the car for free after I complained of highway vibrations driving the
car home. Quieted things down very nicely. They also did a second
alignment on the car when I noticed that the car wandered slightly to one
side. Got it perfect; they had a problem the first time because NTB threw
the car so far out of alignment.
NTB is also responsible for the dissapearance of my 200q20v's Audi-logo
tire stem valve covers; the previous owner said he had new tires fitted and
the covers were gone when he picked up the car; he complained and NTB
claimed the car never came in with them on. I suspect they lost them when
they put on the "premium" metal valve covers($4 apiece.)
If you're in the MA area, look up Donovan's Alignment in Waltham. Right
near the Watch City brewpub; in fact, on the same street(WC is on a corner;
the side road goes right to Donovan's, about 1000 ft away.) A word of
caution; 128 is a horrible highway to test the car on. They used
sub-standard asphalt and the road has "valleys" and "channels" all over the
place from so much traffic, particularly between the Weston Hotel and Route
3.
The only thing I buy from Sears are Craftsman hand tools, and _only_ hand
tools.
