RE: bent guide pin on the rear brake caliper

Oh great, I thought I could sneak this one by and avoid embarrassment. I
am sure many have seen the recent posts about how to get the piston back
in the caliper while replacing worn pads. Well let me just say that it
is probably a good idea to remove both of the bolts from the carrier
just to avoid bending a guide pin. They are easy to bend. So if whatever
method you use puts too much load on a pin or just because of the
confined space you must work in, chances are you will soon be posting on
the internet trying to find a guide pin.

How does one bend a guide pin? So I don't do it.
