Autostick/tiptronic

Whatever you want to call it...

I've driven the A8 w/ tiptronic, the new 300M with Autostick, and a 
couple other manually shifted autoboxes over the last couple years, and I 
don't care for any of them.   The whole point of a manual is to shift 
gears smoothly so as not to upset the car.  The auto-manuals can't do 
this.  If they come up with an ECU that can disengage the clutch and blip 
the throttle properly, then maybe it will work as I expect it to.  So 
far, I've only seen that in F1 though.

I agree with the lady that bought the Viper in the article posted this 
AM - automatics are for wimps.  period.  And, you shouldn't be talking on the
phone while driving anyway.  Even drinking coffee is marginal
car-activity. 

And while we're being dogmatic, sportscars don't have 4 seats.  period.
