have you tried to change the rear tires to the front to make sure the
front wheels are not out of alignment? How many miles did your car go?
Maybe the front rotors are warped. I haven't checked it on my car, but
maybe the play in the rack is normal. Have you checked the control arm
bushings? You can move the front wheel forth and back with the
handbrake applied and gear in neutral if they are bad.
