Flying Daewoos (Was: New Car On The Block)

The current (OK, as current as I can get in the US) issue of Autocar shows
(on p.8) a Daewoo Matiz being _reversed_ at 12-15mph (the car's capable of
25mph in reverse), then a half turn of lock being applied.

Result: a Daewoo sitting on its roof.

Below, they repeated the experiment (this time with the photographer's
motorwinder on, and Daewoo engineers watching). Same result. In the space of
3 frames (say, 1 sec) the car goes from all four wheels on the ground to the
roof hitting the concrete.

Makes you wonder how it'd fair in the moose-avoidance test at 50 mph going
forwards...
