WOT Switch Adjustment

With thanks to those who steered me toward the WOT switch for
lack of boost on my 200, I found that there is one more operation to
be carried out after installation - adjustment.

The throttle switch housing contains TWO switches - one idle
switch, one WOT switch. Adjustment is in Bentley sections 25.24
through 25.26. Essentially, they want you to be sure there is 12V
on harness connector pin 2 (the middle one) with the key on, then
adjust the idle switch so it is on with a shim of .004 inches
between the throttle stop and the moving part of the linkage. Final
step is to confirm that the WOT switch is on when the pedal is to
da metal.

Requires only a volt-ohm meter. Probably one of the easier
procedures I've found.

One caveat: getting at the bottom mounting bolt for the switch
housing is NOT recommended when the engine is hot. But
working from the forward side with the correct open end wrench, it
can be loosened and tightened without removing anything else.

To replace the switch, I pulled the metal turbo tube loose at the
bottom end -generated enough slack to pull the switch off toward
the passenger side.

Another arcane Audi lesson learned.
