Dear List,

Thanks to those who gave advice about replacement costs and fitting. It
cost me
GBP283.88 for the unit in the end, and that was with a 5% discount.
(I've given up all hope of parts costing less than that these days)

Now for another problem I have - intermittant fault on knock sensor.
This was the diagnosis my local dealer provided, at the same time they
identified my air flow meter had failed. Having replaced the air flow
meter I'm keen to know what symptoms a intermittant fault on a knock
sensor would produce?

Any help greatly appreciated.
