Servicing V 8 Torsen-need advise

Hi folks,
We've had so few problems with quattro drivelines that this problem has never
happened to us before. We have a 1990 V 8 that acts like it's center diff is
locking when the car is a rest. After it drive a feww hundered feet it unlocks
and all is well. We'd like to service the diff, but see no drain plug on it
and don't have the factory manual for this car. 
Your thoughts, please
