V8 Buying tips...

Well, I think I have finally found a V8 to purchase locally.  I had been 
working with Kent Anderson from Kar on a V8 on his website that looked sweet,
but was having trouble working out a deal I could live with since he only trades
in Q's.  Yesterday I found a Pearl white one with 108k miles for $9500.
The dealer is going to give me an excellent trade value, which helps
sweeten the deal.  However, I trust Kent's opinions on Q's and knew the car
he was offering would work well.  This one looks very solid, but I have no
papers and no idea of the maintenance record.  So, days from buying, I'm
a bit nervous.

What should I look for in the car to tell me that it isn't worth buying? I
am going to have my mechanic inspect it, but want to know if there are any
known major problem$ to watch out for.  What is the timing belt change
interval?  Is there a way to tell if it has been done?

The is nearly perfect on the outside, and is a southern car.  Just waiting
for maintenance approval, and then I will get it.  TIA,
