RE: 4kq: Seat removal / Caliper painting

Mark,
I just used a degreaser and a wire wheel on the end of the drill to
clean my calipers and then painted with some high temp engine paint. I
used a Ford Red that I got a shucks. Works well so far but only one
track event and 10,000 miles on them. Well see how well they hold up.
Ideally I would probably have them profesionally cleaned and stripped
but only if I was rebuilding the caliper. Then maybe I would do a
Powder Coat/Ceramic coat of some sort. As long as it would let the heat
out of the caliper. L8R

Just took a peek at Mr. Bentley and wanted BTDTs:

87 4kcsq -- how do you remove the front seats? Any tips? Thought I'd
ask
before I bust out the tools :).

On a wholly unrelated note--what is the best way to go about painting
brake calipers? Any suggested products and procedures? Yes, it's vain,
but hey, I love my car man.
