Junk Yard Discoveries --> Questions

Recent jaunt to the bone yard turned up an '86 5000CS.
Hood latches stuck/fubar and couldn't actually see the engine.
Is this a good candidate for heart transplant ?
Seems like this car only had  about 38k miles on it.
(I am hoping that it isn't due to a T-belt failure.)

Another thought I have is about having the head redone but I
don't know who does a good job on Audi's. TSR
(http://www.tsr-performance.com/intro.html) in England
has some ex$pensive options but lots of HP.
Way too rich for me right now. Any other ideas ?


In the same car are some really nice grey leather seats,
will they fit in my '86 4kcsq ?

Last question for now, will the brake acumulator off a coupe
work on a 4kq ? Mine JUST started leaking.....sucks!

Several others there with minor exterior damage but some 
interior thing desired, but broken. (Sorry Huw)
