There aren't many straights on UK A-roads in general, and the A423 is
especially devoid of them.  I was outdragging him - just - on the
straights and losing him _completely_ on the bends.  I saw it 'jig'
a little following me round one bend, and then he backed off.  He
caught up when I reached the outskirts of Daventry.
