A4 Owners Wanted
That's terrible!!! My 1997 A4Q (2.8L) has black leather and high-gloss
wood; that was the only kind of wood they offerred at the time.
However, if that's the case, consider getting the cloth or leatherette
uphostery in any color with the wood you want, and then having the seats
profssionally reupholstered. Subaru dealers can usually point you to good
leather shops. The A4 leather is not the highest grade anyhow (I prefer
the leather that comes in the BMW 5-series), although it will hold up to
lots of abuse. You may prefer a glossier and softer leather.
