$0.02 on 5k a/c system & programmer motor info.

It appears to me that the "USA" marked items are GM, whereas the "W Germany"
items are from the usual gang of Audi-ites.

This system is comprised of the worst of both continents had to offer.
Maybe GM had too many controllers built and couldn't sell enough Cadillacs
and Olds etc. so they cut Audi a deal-and what a deal it was (Oy!).

I got lucky when I figured out that the broken programmer motor was out of a
caddy.  FTR the GM p/n is 15-71882.  Last year at the local Cad/Olds dealer
I paid about $62 for it.  This is in contrast to the $684 the delar wanted
for the whole programmer...the dealer claimed they not obtain the motor
sub-ass'y alone.  

A friend in Detroit had the same problems with his controller and was able
to get the part for even less than I did.
