More 85 CGT questions

Ok, I replaced the fuel filter (and man was it dirty), I checked for
loose vacuum hoses, and I put some "Sea Foam" into the gas.  I've
heard its really good stuff so hopefully it'll clean my fuel
injectors.  
But now my car runs hot.  The little light by the speedo comes on when
I drive.  Is it the sea foam stuff thats causing it?  Hopefully it is.
 If  not, where should I check?  What could be causing it to overheat.
You'll have to kinda explain where the stuff is cause I dont know
where everything on the engine is or what it looks like.  Thanks in
advance for your help.
