You should check the balance of your wheel/tire combinations first,
and also check them for possible out-of-round conditions. Bad CV joints
don't normally cause vibrations like what you describe unless they are REALLY
bad (like ready for disintegration), but by then you should be hearing a
lot of noise from them.
