84 4kq windows intermittent - fixed!

A friend of mine was by today, to have me clean her window switches. 
Did that, put them in, still no windows go uppy or downy.  Then,
briefly, one went up a bit, then down a bit, then stopped.  Hmmm.  She
says "it will work again in 1/2 hour or so...".   Still measuring 12v at
the switch connector, but the test light wasn't very bright.  So I sits
down with her Bentley (she loves her Audi) and try to figure it out. 
Turns out the window circuit is protected by a 20A thermal breaker. 
Ding!  Replaced it with a 20A fuse and windows work now.  

Tossed a $5 Quantum door handle on while we at it, with her old lock
tumbler.  Great.

Too bad about the gaping hole all down the passenger side betwen the
floor pan and the rocker panel.  Hope she can get that fixed.
