If you have an automatic transmission, it's free (recall work) so take
it to the dealer. If not, then you're stuck, maybe some manual owners
who did the change can help out here. You should still talk to your
dealer; if you're on good terms you might be able to work something out
with them. Even if you can't, it will be good if the dealer has the
problem documented because a number of manual transmission 90's have had
the same problem but aren't covered with the recall--perhaps it will be
expanded?
