It suggests that there's a fore-and-aft split map that indexes input
torque as a dimension. I wonder if it has different maps for different
gears and speeds?
It sounds a bit like the MAC12D timing map - there's a programmed
initial fore-and-aft slip for each input torque perhaps, modified by
actual slippage? Another job for the QLCC, perhaps?
It would seem to ba aimed at one of the few remaining skills on a Torsen
Type 85 - balancing the sideslip against the throttle.
