we have a '98 a6 with the factory-standard good year tires. i did not
realize just how bad they are till we got a '98 lexus gs300. while the
gs300's firestone turanza tires are inferior to the gs400's, they are
much better than the good year eagles. on the same curve, at the same
speed, the eagles screech and squeal, while the turanzas are silent and
sure.
there are less than 12k miles on the a6, bu i may need to replace the eagles
well before they are worn out because they don't suit my driving style and
because i know that there are better tires out there.
so are there any recommendations for good mud & snow type tires?
