Todd,
I know of no Alum. Alloy that exceed steel strength, especially not extruded
alum. ?
Close to automotive steel maybe......but there are thousands of steel alloys
that no Alum. Can match............

Especially when you consider that Alcoa is THE number one manufacturer for
tractor/trailer rig and heavy duty truck aluminum wheels. If their aluminum
can
stand up to that kind of punishment, just think how great it is in a car
body!
