     Bulbs themselves have no filters, they are clear, they are then
     reflected through a red/orangish membrane.

     I saw a cool dash at one of the "Budweiser" World of Wheels
     shows, the owner had used fiber optics to illuminate the
     panel of a 1976 Toyota Cellica (sitting on a 4X4 truck chassis).
     Each individual number on the speedo and tach were illuminated,
     looked really nice.

     Some of the Beemers and Mercyless Benzs use fiber optic
     cables for illumination.  Don't know for sure about the
     new Audis.
