happening on my UrQ. It actually got worse when I replaced the steering rack 
with a used unit. Every other front end piece you can name is brand new. I 
have some vertical play in my tierods, resulting from play in the steering 
rack. My bet is a worn steering rack, made worse by badly worn tires. This may 
be the case with your rack, who knows. HTH
