TIE RODS 4KQ

I went to get an alignment today and discovered that my front tie rods are
basically welded together with rust ..so basicly my car left in the same
condition as it arrived in...{out of alignment in all four corners}..the
mechanic said that the camber was off, the tow was off..and my caster was
pretty close but non- adjustable on the 4k?.....has anyone out there changed
the complete front tie rods 
on their 4k....some hints as how to go about this would be helpful...It looks
aweful
tight in that engine compartment....
