You must be talking about imperial fasteners.
In Metric it's usually 8.8 , 10.9 and 12.9 grades.
To give example Porsche wheel studs are 10.9 grade while bolts holding the
calipers on my 4kq are 12.9 grade (original bolts from 5kt).
There is also 12.9 "unbreakable" assortment of bolts.
