I kinda like the feature my wife's '94 Jetta III GLS has.  You can open or
close all windows using the key in either doorlock.  You just turn and hold
it in the 'unlock' or 'lock' position and the windows all respond in unison.
You can even stop them part way.  Great for hot days (open all before
getting in) or when parking (close all, incl. sunroof).
