RE: 88 MB Urq questions

jouko,

good to hear that the work is proceeding. shudder to think of the
$'s....

with me thinking about slowing down and raising a family, i've been
thinking about something simmilar, a project to keep me occupied (while
minding the kids of course :-) ) ie. taking a tidy wr and putting a
200q motor/tranny into it, and then making the modifications necessary
to get a lwb "sport" quattro, (power brakes) which doesn't owe me a lot
of money. i'm very reluctant to do similar work to the rr, due to it's
rarity and value. and i kinda like it just the way it is...

so, if i was you, i'd be looking long and hard at the mtm mill. also
the tranny, although it might not bee too happy after the shunt....
