I took the advice of other listers and went to a private muffler shop after
the resonator and muffler rusted through. Didn't put a resonator back on and
put a Flowmaster brand muffler on. Car felt peppier and much louder, but
not too loud. It is very deep and guttural. I like it for the sound, increase
in power, and the savings over the custom systems. I paid just over $100.00
parts and labor with the option to have the resonator put on for free if
I find I don't like the sound. The shop has a one year warranty on parts and
labor. I'm satisfied.
