who has vented rear rotors on their 200 qw?
How many of you out there have vented rear rotors on you 200 qw?
All of the app. books say that they SHOULD be vented, but on both my current
and previous '90 200 qw, the rear rotor were solid. Which of course makes
getting replacement parts confusing. And it is not possible that someone just
replaced the vented w/ solid, since vented ones won't even fit my car - the
dust shield is too small, caliper to disk clearance too small and caliper too
narrow.
Except for the right rear caliper, which appears to be for a vented rotor,
since when installed, ends up causing the slide pins to be WAY too far out.
As as I can tell, to put vented rotors on my car, I would have to change the
dust shields, the caliper carriers and left rear caliper. Which I won't do,
cause it's too much trouble.
Did anybody's 10v wagon get built with vented rotors?
thanks!
