... I don't know if you were joking or not, but the EGOR project is one that
has been going on the DIY-EFI list for quite some time.  They did not
misspell your name, and I'd hate to butcher the acronym, so suffice it to
say that some of the newer cars have OXS systems that operate over a wider
range than the ones that most of us have on our cars.  They have
reverse-engineered the way the system works and are working on a DIY version
... but I haven't seen much on it lately.  The problem with the LED OXS
meters is that they are still using an OXS that was not necessarily intended
to operate anywhere except near stoichiometric and attempting to extend the
range.  The EGOR project should result in the same sort of meter, except
that it will have a calibrated A/F readout.
