A lot of that will depend on which Hawk pads you're trying to use on the
street.

I've been running the Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) compound on a
daily basis for about six months now and am very happy with them.  Pad
life is slightly less than some of the other pad brands out there, but
at half the cost . . . I think it makes up for it.
