In my last car I just put some of the hook type Velcro (TM) on the underside
of the unit and put in the trunk with the cable exposed. The car was a VW GTI
so it came in really handy to have it remove/moveable whenever the GTI
swallowed something large through the rear hatch. My current solution in the
4K is to put the thing, with padding, in the trunk sitting in the little cubby
hole on the right side next to the fuel filler hose. I think Audi was thinking
of this when they designed it.... it's perfect.  I would have used the old
method but the 4k has that slick trunk liner.... can't have the player slidin
around back there when I take corners on two wheels (or at least try to).
